About Michigan's implicit bias training requirement

  • Who needs implicit bias training in Michigan?

    All Michigan healthcare providers, including  doctors, nurses, mental health providers, and other health and wellness professionals, are required to complete implicit bias training for licensing and renewal.

  • How many hours of implicit bias training do I need?

    f you're a first-time applicant for licensure or registration, you must have completed a minimum of 2 hours of Michigan implicit bias training within the previous five years. If you're renewing your license or registration, you must complete 1 hour of implicit bias training for each year of your license or registration cycle.

  • What types of CE credit can I earn?

    Earn credit hours from ACCME, ANCC, CCMC, ASWB ACE, ACPE, ADA

  • How long will it take to get my credits?

    As soon as you complete the course and pass the assessment with at least a 70%, you will receive your CE credits and certificate immediately via email.
